Illinek Lodge Chiefs

The Lodge Chief, is the senior youth leader of the local Order of the Arrow lodge. He must be under age 21 for the entire length of his term. He is elected by his peers under the age of 21 at the Illinek Annual Meeting, typically in August. Together with a team of elected subordinate offices (Vice Chief, Secretary and Treasurer), he runs the lodge program. He serves as the head of the Lodge Executive Committee (LEC) composed of youth committee chairmen and associated adult advisors. Together with the Lodge Advisor and Staff Advisor, the three form an executive leadership team referred to as the KEY-3. The term of office for the Illinek Lodge Chief is from September 1st through August 31st of the following year.
